Hi ToscaS08,

My name is Lee, an independent advisor.

May I know if you have already try turning off the Bluetooth of your Iphone 6 so it will not interrupt the pairing process between the headset and PC?

Also, try to press and hold the Hub button for five seconds until the light flashes red and white, indicating pairing mode and then go back to your Lenovo and click on the add new device in Bluetooth settings.

If that did not work, try to also run the Bluetooth troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Select "Bluetooth" > Click "Run the Troubleshooter"

Is all failed to solve the issue, please reply back and we will see what will be the next step based on the result of the steps I gave.

Regards,

Hi Lee, Thanks for your quick answer! I have even turned my phone completely off... And I have als done the troubleshooter multiple times... I then finds 'controlling status of Bluetooth-Radio' and says it solved that problem. But then it still won't find my earbuds...

Thank you. Would you also please check if you are running the latest version of Windows?

Try it this way:
- Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...
- Click Update now and download the Windows Update Assistant
- Run the Windows Update Assistant and follow the prompt
- If windows is up to date, Windows Update Assistant will tell you but if not, it will ask you to download the latest update.
- Once done, it is normal that you computer will restart multiple times

Please share the result so we can move on to the next step if the issue is still not resolved.

Kind Regards,

Can't I just use the 'search for updates' option? Instead of having to dowload something? Because according to that my laptop is completely up to date!

No Problem. May I know if you have already test you PC with another Bluetooth device just to narrow down the possible points of failure? Can you pair you phone with the PC?

Also please confirm if the driver update you mentioned above is through the Lenovo website: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/lap... and by entering your serial number allowing the Lenovo website to detect the best driver for your laptop.

Kind Regards,

I have connected my laptop with a Bose Bluetooth box and my laptop could detect that box within a few seconds... The prior driver update I did was indeed trough that website, I have run the scan again and it now says to download a lot of new drivers but none of them seem to be about Bluetooth. Should I still update all the drivers?

Okay thank you for the confirmation. No need to update if the Bose is detected by your PC. I have one more request if possible (sorry for keep bugging your with these steps), do you have a different Windows 10 PC? Would you please connect the iFrogz Sounf Hub XD2 if it will connect smoothly?

Kind Regards,

No problem, I'm just really happy someone is trying to help me! It does says to update 'Realtek Audio Driver' and it says that my 'BIOS Update' is 'critical' to update. Don't know if that could mean anything. And I unfortunately do not have another PC or Laptop at my availability...

I believe the Realtek Audio Driver does not affect the BT issue, BIOS may but not related with this specific problem since it can detect the BOSE. Go ahead and update the Audio Driver & BIOS if the Lenovo website says so.

With regard to the iFrogz Sounf Hub issue, I got one more idea.

- Kindly go back to Device Manager
- Click "View" from the menu and select "Show hidden devices"
- Expand the Bluetooth category
- Check if there are drivers for iFrogz Sounf Hub that are hidden and if so, please uninstall them and try to pair the iFrogz Sounf Hub again in Bluetooth settings.

I am updating them right now. In the hidden devices I found:

Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)

Microsoft Bluetooth-enumerator (times two?)

But I also saw these yesterday and then they were not hidden...

P.S. It is Sound Hub, I just made a typo ;) (maybe that will clear up something?)
